Summary
- 2026 schedule guide for the traditional taiko drum festival in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture
- Festival dates are October 15โ18, 2026 (Niihama City page updated September 29, 2026)
- Parade entries follow the city's main schedule, dated September 7, 2026
The Niihama Taiko Festival is one of Ehime Prefecture's premier autumn celebrations with over 300 years of history. Massive 3-ton ornate floats parade through the city with spirited chants.
Parade times on this page come only from Niihama City's main 2026 schedule. Times, places, and float counts that the table does not list are not filled in. A row printed in more than one district is listed once. The image "4Days" pamphlets are not expanded beyond that text table.
The Yamane Ground note says spectator seating starts at 18:00 on 10/16๏ผๆจ๏ผ. The table heading for October 16 is Friday, and the 2026 calendar is also Friday. Because only the weekday in that note disagrees, the seating time is not included as a parade entry.
